This workshop will be led by a FSU faculty member who is also an experienced editor. The first half of the presentation will cover the workings of the scientific publication process and how to organize and construct a scientific paper. The second half will address problems encountered by educated writers of scientific English and ways to shorten, tighten, and strengthen your scientific writing. Per the request of students that have previously attended these workshops, the Writing & Publishing Scientific Papers workshop will be a two day workshop. Be sure to register for both sessions.
