PhD in Social Psychology
I earned my bachelor's of science in psychology at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. While working on my bachelor's, I completed an honors thesis under the guidance of Dr. Curtis Phills.
My research interests include prejudice reduction and racial identity. Currently, I am working on projects on transphobia, biracial identity, and proactive morality under the guidance of my mentor Dr. Ashby Plant.
Since starting my studies at FSU, I have earned the APAGS Research Grant ($1,000) and the SPSSI Clara Mayo Grant ($1,000) to conduct my research.
The Fellows Society has enriched my experience as a graduate student at FSU by providing a close community of diverse scholars and an open dialogue across different fields of study about academic issues and cutting-edge research.
