My current research interests are in Monte Carlo (and quasi-Monte Carlo) simulation, stochastic differential equations, and numerical linear algebra. Specifically, I am interested in combining multilevel Monte Carlo with different path generation methods of the stochastic differential equations.

My teaching interests are in linear algebra, statistics, numerical analysis, and any other topic that is similar to my research interests.

The Fellows Society has been amazing and I am incredibly thankful to be a part of it. I have enjoyed wonderful conversations with students of so many different types of fields and research interests, and it has been exhilarating to see the similarities and differences of the research process throughout academia! From the more casual discussions at the research sharing lunches (which always have amazing food), to the well-presented talks at the Fellows Forum (which have even more amazing food), every interaction with the Fellows Society has helped me think about the world in a new way.

Dr. Lisa Liseno is absolutely awesome and is the best part of the Fellows Society! She always makes people feel welcome and does an excellent job of encouraging the Fellows Society to participate in events throughout the year.
